Connect your Shopify store and your agent can answer real questions about your catalog and orders — “Do you have this in medium?”, “Where’s my order?” — using live, read‑only data from Shopify. You also install the on‑site chat widget through Shopify’s theme editor, with no code.
ChatRos reads your products and order status read‑only. It never modifies your store, products, or orders.

Step 1 — Install the ChatRos Shopify app

1

Install from the Shopify App Store

Install the ChatRos app from the Shopify App Store (or from your Shopify admin → Apps). Installing it links your store to your ChatRos workspace automatically.
2

Approve the connection

Follow Shopify’s install prompts and approve the requested permissions.

Step 2 — Connect the store to your agent

1

Open the Shopify integration

In ChatRos, go to your agent → Integrations → Shopify.

2

Click “Connect Shopify store”

This links the Shopify store already connected to your workspace to this agent. Once connected, you’ll see a green ● Connected badge with your store URL.
If ChatRos says no store is linked yet, install the ChatRos app from your Shopify admin first (Step 1), then come back and click Connect Shopify store.

Step 3 — Show the chat widget on your storefront

Shopify stores install the chat widget through Shopify’s theme app embed — you never paste a script.
1

Open the theme editor

From the Chat Widget’s Script tab in ChatRos, use the button to open your Shopify theme editor with the ChatRos embed pre‑selected.
2

Enable the ChatRos app embed

Toggle the ChatRos app embed on, then Save. The widget appears on your storefront automatically.

Verify it works

Open your storefront and ask the agent about a product you sell, or an order number. It should answer using live data from your store.

Manage or disconnect

Return to Integrations → Shopify to see the connected store or click Disconnect.
